Halton Council is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Environmental Health Officer to work as part of the Food and Health Safety team advising businesses and enforcing food and health and safety law. The team are also working alongside public health colleagues as part of the council integrated response to COVID 19. A significant part of the role will involve enforcement of COVID 19 restrictions, inspection of COVID Safe workplaces, contact tracing and outbreak management.
You should be a qualified Environmental Health Officer registered with EHORB with experience of food and health & safety enforcement, infectious disease control and in particular experience of enforcing COVID 19 business restrictions, inspection of COVID safe workplaces, contact tracing and outbreak management.
