Team Leader - Financial Systems and Controls

We are looking for a Team Leader Financial Systems & Controls to work in Finance Services.

Reporting to the Finance Services Manager, you will lead in all aspects relating to finance systems development, security, maintenance and troubleshooting system issues. A thorough understanding of the impacts of system changes is required. This will require liaision with colleagues and suppliers. You will also ensure that users are trained to utilise the finance systems effectively. This post also provides VAT advice to colleagues and completes the VAT returns and reconciliations for the Authority in compliance with relevant legislation. Experience of producing reconcilations, specifically Bank Reconcilations would also be useful.

You will be able to work under your own initiative and work accurately and concisely whilst delivering excellent customer service.  Your analytical and prioritisation skills will be second to none and your effective communication and negotiation skills will help you to build effective working relationships.  Experience of managing finance systems and the ability to use Microsoft Office to intermediate level are also essential.
