As part of our exciting HR&OD function, you will play a critical role in the development of effective and best fit reward strategies.
Your remit will span pay, reward, recognition and benefit strategies, including their implementation, and be focused on combining effective and modern approaches with organisational fit and legal compliance. Being effective in how we evaluate jobs and remaining an employer of choice against other organisations will be an important factor within this role.
With a professional qualification within the field of reward or equivalent experience, you will have knowledge and experience of how to design, implement and manage all aspects of reward.
You naturally build relationships with a genuine desire to 'get under the skin' of the business. With a real knack of supporting trades unions and staff discussions by communicating and reporting in an engaging and compelling way - leaving clear messages while having an open and collaborative style.

£40,227 - £44,619 per annum, 36 hours per week. The administrative work base for the HR Employment Practice team is Woodhatch, Reigate, although you will not be required to work from that location on a daily basis. From 1 January 2021 Surrey County Council will operate through administrative bases located across the County, incorporating new workstyles and meeting spaces.
