The Fellowship is a network and community, of almost 1,500 fellows (growing to 4,000 by 2025) that have completed the Frontline, Firstline or CSW programmes. The Fellowship exists to support fellows to improve their practice, empower them to seek out projects to improve social work practice, and help them explore their potential and to support them to implement their innovative ideas. All to ensure a positive impact for vulnerable children and families. Using the principles of community organising, our goal is to create a community, and space where fellows do not feel an individual responsibility, but instead a part of a movement with the power to make real change. To achieve this the Fellowship Officers must have a strong understanding of both the theory and application of community organising.
We are recruiting for two Fellowship Officers to join the team, one permanent and one 12-month fixed term contract. Each Fellowship Officer will be responsible for supporting one of four regions across England. The Fellowship Officer supports fellows with network building, career development activities, innovation cultivation and practice training.
