Reporting to the Chief Management Accountant and based in the Finance & Property service, you will be responsible for leading, developing and motivating a team of three. We expect you to be a CCAB qualified accountant with a history of successful people management and outstanding communication skills. You will provide high quality financial support to the Chief Executive, and Corporate Directors for Place and Resources, and their directorate management teams and will work with senior colleagues on high profile corporate projects to help the Council achieve its priority outcomes. An appreciation of the changes facing local government finance will be supported by your ability to report financial information clearly.
We are ideally looking to offer the successful candidate the full number of hours advertised above. We may however consider offering less hours than advertised providing they meet the requirements of the role and service which will be determined by the recruiting manager.
