The council is looking for a talented Senior Communications Officer to provide communications support to a range of services including Planning, Highways, Waste and Leisure.
You’ll be involved in explaining council plans and services - so local people know what we’re doing, how they can get involved and how they can take advantage of some of our services. You’ll also be involved in managing high profile, complex or sensitive issues. With good news sense and editorial skills too, you’ll be adept at crafting messages both for sensitive and positive stories.
It’s a chance to find your greatness by keeping the people we serve informed. With the council continually delivering new projects for the community, you’ll have plenty of exciting things to share.
