Midday Assistant
Hours: 6.25 hours per week/38 weeks per year
Salary: Grade 1/2, points 1-5. Pro Rata Salary of £2,999- £3,221 p.a. (FTE £20,658 - £22,185 p.a.)
Contract: Temporary until 31st August 2021, however this may be extended.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Harold Wood Primary School is looking to recruit a caring and committed individual to provide support during the lunchtime period.
A vacany has arisen in our school for a lunchtime assistant for children with Special Educational Needs to join our lunchtime team and help to develop our school ethos.
Duties will include:
- Supporting a pupil during the lunchtime break.
- Enforcing positive behaviour and positive social interaction.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate that they have:
- A nurturing, though firm, approach.
- A patient attitude towards pupils.
- At least one year's experience working in a school setting.
