Building Surveyor

We have currently have an exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join our Engineering and Buildings Team.

Key qualifications / knowledge:

• Good level of surveying knowledge.
• Sound working knowledge of construction and building maintenance
• Relevant surveying/ building/property related qualification to a minimum of HNC.
• The written and oral communication skills required to effectively liaise with stakeholders, customers and colleagues at every level and through a range of mediums.
• Relevant surveying/ building/property related qualification to a minimum of HNC.

The successful candidate will cover a varied work load on commercial premises comprising of planned maintenance, cyclical maintenance, project work and managing internal maintenance officers to carry out responsive repairs to FHDC corporate property assets.

The post holder will also have experience working on commercial properties in defect analysis, specification writing, the tender process and managing contractors.
