Senior Administrator - Business Support

We are looking for an experienced Senior Administrator to join our team. You will perform a variety of administrative tasks, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and scheduling meetings. You will provide the day to day supervision of the Business Support Team and step in for the Business Support Team Leader as required ensuring our day to day office operations run smoothly. 

To be successful in this role, you will need to have exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills to manage both the office space and your time. You will collaborate with the Council Leadership Team, Councillors and colleagues across all Council services whilst maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality at all times. You will be a team player with a “can do” attitude and a flexible approach, able to act on your own initiative and see a task through to completion. 

Previous experience of working in a Senior Administrative role as well as supervision of staff if essential.
