Health & Safety Officer, to identify & facilitate the implementation of the health and safety operational management system, statutory requirements for health, safety and welfare to ensure that the Public Realms service areas and clients demonstrate compliance. To be the main contact in the provision of professional, comprehensive health and safety service for all Public Realm’s service areas. In order to achieve a continued improvement in health and safety performance and service delivery.

The importance of continued compliance for Health & Safety is a main priority for the council.

This role can be both challenging & rewarding, the council is looking for an individual who is experienced, motivated & has the necessary skills to not only meets compliance but exceed expectations.
