Capital Letters is a unique values driven business, we procure and manage London accommodation from private landlords and managing agents to prevent and relieve homelessness across the capital.
We do this in collaboration with our London council members, to reduce competition between the boroughs, drive efficiency and produce better outcomes for London’s homeless households.
We are looking to recruit experienced Tenancy Support Workers to join the growing team at Capital Letters.
The role will involve delivering a professional and compassionate tenancy sustainment support service to a caseload of tenants and landlords in the private rented sector.
Working positively and proactively with internal and external colleagues, tenants and landlords to identify tenancies at risk and provide support to prevent tenancy failure wherever possible.
You will work with tenants to minimise rent arrears, maximise their income and understand and their rights and responsibilities.
You will have at least 3 years' experience of working in a similar role within the housing or homelessness sector and experience and knowledge of Welfare Benefit regulations.
A high degree of integrity and confidentiality is a must and you will be used to working with sensitive data.
