Revenue Officer (Recovery) Part-Time

Uttlesford District Council Revenues Services deals with the administration of Housing Benefit, Local Council Tax Reduction Scheme and the collection of Council Tax, Housing Benefit Overpayments, Business Rates, Sundry Debts and Housing Rents. The service currently uses Northgate Revenues and Benefits, Integra computer system and info@work/Enterprise document imaging system.

Revenues Services is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Part-Time Revenue Officer (Recovery) for 22 hours per week on a permanent contract, based in the Revenues Recovery Team.

We would like to hear from you if you have experience in the administration and collection of Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit Overpayment and Sundry Debts or have experience in an equivalent recovery background.

You should be an excellent team worker with good communication skills who is confident and assertive and used to working under pressure.

Applicants should have strong administrative abilities and be able to work accurately in a busy working environment. GCSEs in Maths and English and good written and verbal communication skills are essential together with a working knowledge of the MS Office suite of packages.
