Salary: £21,589 - £23,836 per annum pro rata (potential to rise to CBG9)

Base Location: Priory House, Chicksands, Shefford

More about the role:

You will play a key role in helping to deliver the Council’s housing vision and influencing the future delivery of housing across the authority area.

This will involve maintaining effective and positive working relationships across the Council by providing a key link between Council departments, showing a real passion for collaboration yet being clear on team outcomes. You will be proficient with IT systems and methodical in how you store & access information. You will be involved in reviewing and responding to planning applications, in order to uphold the Council’s various housing policies.

You will assist in monitoring affordable housing statistics, the Council's self & custom build register, and other housing associated agenda. You will also assist in research, monitoring and supporting wider initiatives such as MMC/smart construction. Ideally a corporate CIH member but not essential, you will be able to transition from big picture to detail with ease whilst identifying relevant opportunities and potential issues.
