Social Worker PAP (FTC)

Are you an ambitious Social Worker keen to specialise in working with young people? Could you work with young people who are leaving care to ensure they have a robust pathway plan, stepping-stones in place for independence and that structured support is in place for them?  If so this could be the role for you……

 Who you are…

  • A qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
  • Have good communication skills and work in an integrated way across services and teams
  • Enthusiastic, organised and willing challenge decision making processes

 

The role…..

  • To manage the care planning for young people in the care of and those leaving the care of Rutland County Council
  • To promote the welfare of children and families throughout their care journey and to ensure they are safeguarded and supported

 

You will hold a specialist case load of teenagers who are in care or on the edge of care.  You will initially be based in the Protection and Permanence Team with a view to moving to a specialist team for adolescents and our care leavers.

 

The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of the DBS and SWE registrations is paid for by us
