Job Title: Enterprise Co-ordinator
Location: Broxbourne
Salary Range: £32,234 pa Progressing to £34,728 pa (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: 18.75 per week (no specific hours required - can be flexible across the working week)

Contract: Fixed-Term/ Secondment Opportunity-7 months initial  contract (February 2021 – 31 August 2021) but may be extended

Job Duties:

We are looking for an Enterprise Co-Ordinator to coordinate the Enterprise Adviser Network across 9 education establishments in Broxbourne. Working with a team of six Co-Ordinators across the county, you act as a conduit between schools/colleges and the local business community to make students aware of all the opportunities available to them and how to realise these ambitions

About you:

You must have Strong business networks and contacts in Broxbourne and to be able to identify and recruit new Enterprise Advisers and/or businesses and individuals willing to support and engage with local schools/colleges. An understanding of education and training routes available for young people is essential along with an understanding of both Broxbourne’s and Hertfordshire’s economy and skills needs. You must have an interest in supporting secondary schools/colleges and basic understanding of The Gatsby Benchmarks is also desirable

Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) is recruiting this post on behalf of Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership Ltd. Local Enterprise Partnerships were established to help lead economic regeneration in English regions. Hertfordshire LEP is one of 38 Local Enterprise Partnerships tasked by the Government to drive forward economic recovery.

The Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC) funds Hertfordshire LEP to deliver The Enterprise Adviser Network (EAN) in Hertfordshire. The intention is that each of our 112 schools and colleges in the county will be supported by an Enterprise Adviser (EA) – a volunteer from the business community, who in partnership with an EC, can unlock doors into local employers and act as the voice of industry.
