 We need a dynamic and dedicated Director of Finance and Operations to provide strong financial and operational leadership for our highly successful Trust, and to maximise commercial opportunities as we move into in the next, exciting phase of our strategic development.

The successful candidate will have;

  • a strong business acumen,
  • expertise in finance,
  • experience of working with and leading high-performing teams,
  • a clear understanding of how to run highly efficient support services in support of an organisation’s mission.

 Prior experience of working in a school environment is not essential, but candidates must possess a precise, analytical and agile mind, creativity, strong interpersonal skills, plenty of drive and energy, and commitment to the ethos and aims of the organisation.

Weaver Trust is a growing, three-school Multi-Academy Trust already serving almost 1000 students. We have already established ourselves and have a proven track record in outstanding primary education and we are keen to grow further and have no intention of becoming complacent. If you want to join a fast-paced and ambitious organisation – this could be the role for you!

Depending upon the skills and experience of the successful candidate, there are opportunities for flexible working in terms of hours/days of work and the potential for some remote working. This could include holidays that align with school holidays.

 To request a copy of the application pack please email admin@satiseducation.co.uk  Ordinarily, we would offer the chance to visit the Trust, but obviously that is not possible in the current circumstances. However, if you cannot find the information you need to help you decide whether we are the kind of Trust you would be happy working in, please do let us know and we would be happy to arrange phone calls or a ‘virtual’ meeting. Contact our Chief Executive, Annette Williams via email on annette.williams@weavertrust.org with any queries.

 Our Trust is committed to promoting the highest standards of safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this legal requirement.

The successful applicant's appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment clearances including a Disclosure and Barring Service check (formally CRB).
