About the role
We are recruiting a high-performing Adults Social Worker who is looking to develop their career in an innovative local authority, committed to realising potential.
Our Adults Social Workers provide services across a number of areas including Initial Assessment, Locality and Hospital Teams and a specialist Learning Disability Service.
We currently have a vacancy in our Adult Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) that provide safeguarding support for adults with care and support needs.
The post holder will support in making initial safeguarding enquiries to establish whether safeguarding legal criteria applies, referring to and working with partner organisations, and supporting with initial protective measures. The post holder will also be undertaking statutory Care Act Assessments for people with care and support needs.
You will be a qualified, experienced Social Worker looking to progress their career or an accomplished Senior Social Worker, with a wide range of experience working with Older Adults and/or People with Disabilities as well as mental health difficulties. You will have developed your skills and knowledge with further post qualifying training and have specific experience with the relevant client group.
You will be innovative and creative with a willingness to explore new models of working to improve the outcomes for our service users. Moreover, you will be a highly motivated individual who is able to build strong relationships to deliver the best possible outcomes for vulnerable people.
