Newark and Sherwood District Council has a vacancy within the Planning Development Business Unit. The post is an opportunity for anyone who simply has an interest in the area or who may wish to gain some experience in order to pursue a career in planning.

The team within which the post sits deals with a wide range of services aimed at supporting the planning function of the Council. Duties include tasks such as populating back office systems, creating new planning related cases, ensuring letters to inform residents are issued and issuing notification of final decisions made by the Council.
