We are looking to appoint a part time Planning Enforcement Investigations Officer to investigate potential planning breaches. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work as part of a small team, lead on and manage your own work.
You will be responsible for investigating enforcement complaints, writing reports in assessing the potential impact of any breach, and recommending a suitable course of action, and taking that action where agreed by managers.
The ideal candidate will be a good verbal and written communicator and be able to demonstrate the required attributes to provide suitable planning advice with confidence.
The successful candidate will work 20 hours per week. Flexibility can be applied to working hours, but it is expected that the Officer will be available for site visits during the day, and very occasional evening/ weekend working where its necessary for enforcement investigations.
