Social Worker (Experienced level) - Assessment Team

This is an exciting time to join our Assessment team as an experienced social worker and be part of our improvement journey in Children’s Services.

You will have a varied and manageable caseload that provides you the opportunity to work proactively with children and families using the Signs of Safety practice model, supporting vulnerable children in need, children in need of protection and those subject to Public Law Outline (PLO).

As a registered social worker with 2 years’ post qualifying experience you will be motivated, committed and passionate about making a difference to the lives of children, young people and families. You will be able to build effective relationships, demonstrate strong assessment and analysis skills and work effectively as part of a team.

In return for your commitment, we are proud to offer an excellent benefits package including a market premia payment of £2,500 per annum (paid in 12 equal payments) and a retention payment of £3,000 per annum (paid after 1 years’ continuous service with Medway).
