Stronger and Safer Communities Administration Support Officer
Band B, £19,312 - £19,698 per annum (full-time)
This role helps support the delivery of services including minute taking, the preparation of report documents and communicating with other teams, organisations and the public. If you like overcoming daily challenges and want to be part of a developing team, then this is the role for you.
We need the successful candidate to be an excellent organiser who can work effectively within the Community Safety and Community Focus Teams and communicate well with a variety of internal and external partners, organisations and residents. You must also be able to build and maintain rapport, develop relationships and meet agreed outcomes. You need to be able to use technology in the workplace and be familiar with using a range of software packages. You will need to have excellent organisational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks.
You will be working in a busy environment and need to be confident and able to communicate at all levels within the organisation, as well as having a good level of knowledge and understanding of MS Office (or equivalent) to produce word documents and spread sheets. We are looking for someone with a calm and controlled manner, who can work under pressure to support both teams find successful resolutions for people in the district, making sure residents feel valued because you understand their issues from their point of view.
