Job Title: Senior Commissioning Manager - Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
Location: Based in Stevenage but role will be countywide (Please note during the current time all employees are expected to work from home until further notice)
Salary Range: £49,866 pa progressing to £53,042 pa (M5) or NHS equivalent banding for people on existing NHS terms and conditions
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: 2 Years Fixed Term Contract or Secondment

Based at our Stevenage base, you will be part of the Integrated Health and Care Commissioning Team (IHCCT), which is responsible for the countywide commissioning and monitoring of joint health and social care services on behalf of the council and the NHS, including adult mental health services and learning disability services and child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS).
We are recruiting a Senior Commissioning Manager for CAMHS to lead on improving outcomes for children and young people who experience mental ill health in Hertfordshire. You will work with partners across the NHS, County Council, local schools and others to deliver key, high profile, commissioning projects. This will include managing NHS contracts, leading tender exercises, public consultations and strategy development.
With experience in commissioning or delivering complex partnership projects, you will work collaboratively to develop an improved offer of support which ensures improved outcomes for children, young people, their families and the professionals and systems that support them. Your work will involve collaboration with a range of stakeholders through co-production, engagement and participation, using your initiative and leadership skills to find solutions to problems in partnership, and be accountable for driving forward service improvements.
The successful applicant will be educated to degree level, or with equivalent working experience, and be confident, motivated, solution focused and possess excellent project management and communication skills.
