All 3 roles will provide effective leadership, planning and management of a range of support services that are flexible and responsive, enabling us to deliver on priorities.

If you are seeking out a new and exciting challenge; whilst also being enthused by the prospect of joining an authority that is transforming its operating model, embracing an agenda of whole system leadership, commissioning for outcomes and enabling the growth of place and, if you are comfortable with the prospect of being part of a team that seeks to demonstrate values based, distributed and restorative leadership then we look forward to receiving your application.

The Head of ICT & Digital will lead and build on a solid platform that provides a range of services including ICT Strategy, Design, Business Partnering, Digital Solutions, Support Solutions, Compliance / Cyber Security, Internet / Intranet and Solutions/Information.

How You Can Make a Difference

We are looking for high energy, creative and thoughtful people who are proud of what they do and the difference they can make to the lives of the people and businesses of North East Lincolnshire. In all these roles we are looking for someone who can bring their expertise and passion in their field to lead and support the Council and the Union through significant programmes of change.

You will need to be open, flexible and willing to engage others in the development of new ways of working.  You will be highly resilient when working through challenges (including social, political and financial) faced by the public sector, and able to influence and persuade others to embrace change. We need individuals who aren’t afraid of responsibility and are capable of bringing colleagues and senior leadership along with them.

You will have a strong track record in managing an ICT team at a senior level and be able to demonstrate your experience in leading or making a significant contribution to change management for ICT and Digital services. You will have an excellent understanding of digital solutions and a continued interest in new technology, as well as the legal requirements and best practice in ICT and Digital and ability to translate those requirements into practical solutions.

You will have the personality and style to lead and embrace an open and inclusive culture, living the Council values, empowering, and supporting our people to be the best they can be.
