Following a recent review of our senior leadership team we are looking to recruit to 3 senior roles within Resources that will play key roles in the Council and working with our partners, one of those being the Head of Transformation.
All 3 roles will provide effective leadership, planning and management of a range of support services that are flexible and responsive, enabling us to deliver on priorities.

The Head of Transformation will lead the development of a new delivery model that will include a range of specialist support services to commissioners and service managers, including Change, Organisational Design, Assurance and Business Intelligence. These services will support and enable major change programmes across the Council and CCG (the Union), and with our key delivery partners.

In all these roles we are looking for someone who can bring their expertise and passion in their field to lead and support the Council and the Union through significant programmes of change.
You will need to be open, flexible and willing to engage others in the development of new ways of working. You will be highly resilient when working through challenges (including social, political and financial) faced by the public sector, and able to influence and persuade others to embrace change. We need individuals who aren’t afraid of responsibility and are capable of bringing colleagues and senior leadership along with them.
You will have substantial experience of working across diverse services in a large complex organisation and be able to demonstrate your experience and understanding of the important of partnership working and engagement for true co-production that understands problems and identifies solutions. You will have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the commissioning cycle and be able to design teams and roles that will support the Union with evidence-based decision making, effective re-design of services and flexible contracts using an agile approach to projects. You will understand assurance and governance arrangements and ensure that functions such as contract management, performance reporting, procurement and information governance work in a way that is responsive and flexible to the needs of the organisation whilst ensuring robust assurance arrangements are in place.
