Salary for this position is £39,516 to £42,507
Full time and permanent
A generous annual leave allowance of 30 days (plus an additional 5 days depending on having Continuous Local Government Service).

Sevenoaks District Council has an ambitious regeneration and development agenda. As Regeneration Development Manager, you will manage complex capital projects, including housing, mixed use, commercial, health and leisure schemes. Your role will primarily be focussed on pre-construction project work, such as preparing feasibility studies, commissioning consultant teams and surveys, and leading on concept design development for new schemes. In addition, you will undertake development appraisals and financial modelling of schemes, you will assist with the preparation of planning applications and lead on public consultation exercises.
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience of working in property development and managing complex projects, with current knowledge of housing development and regeneration and construction practices. You will be an excellent negotiator with outstanding communication skills, both spoken and in writing. You will be able to demonstrate good understanding of the property market and current property issues and you will be able to plan and prioritise work programmes effectively in the face of competing demands.
