Project Manager - Digital ( Transport Data Hub)

The West of England is one of the UK’s most vibrant regions, with high employment, successful businesses, excellent schools and colleges, and four world-class universities. Over the last decade, our economic contribution has outperformed the national average, and we are committed to making it even better through clean and sustainable growth.

Our transport network is at the heart of this and the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) is responsible for setting the region’s transport strategies and policies; leading and delivering major transport schemes across the region; and co-ordinating the transport input of the region’s three constituent councils – Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Project Manager to join the team to support the Future Transport Zone programme and deliver the Transport Data Hub project.

Based in Bristol and working to the Head of Transport, you will assist the Future Transport Zone programme to deliver its objectives working closely with the Mobility as a Service project, Mobility Hubs, and Demand-Responsive Transport services.

You’ll have an enthusiasm and passion for making a difference in our region; a demonstrable interest in the future of transport; and experience defining and developing transport data and information systems or innovative digital services.

If this sounds like you, please get in touch. For an informal conversation about the role, please call Jason Humm, Head of Transport on 0117 3321512, and to apply, please click the link below.

WECA is an equal opportunities employer, in line with the Equalities Act 2010, and invite applicants to contact us to identify any additional support they may need during the recruitment process.

The West of England Combined Authority is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We ensure all qualified applicants receive consideration for employment and particularly welcome applications from underrepresented groups without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or citizenship status.

*The grade offered will be based on your experience and therefore the nature of projects you could be allocated to deliver.  Our projects vary based on value, stakeholder and technical complexity.  Those that are appointed at Grade 10 will be supported to gain this experience and develop into Grade 11 posts as the team grows.
