KS1 Teacher

A fantastic opportunity is awaiting you from September 2021; the chance to plan, deliver and evaluate stimulating and creative learning experiences within an all-through school.

King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) and King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO) are seeking a class teacher who can inspire, challenge and motivate children and staff. The successful candidate will be an organised and creative teacher with the skills to make learning both challenging and fun. You will be committed to achieving high standards and a team player with a sense of humour.

KAB opened in a superb building in September 2018 with 120 Year 7 students. In September 2019, KAO, a brand new 1 FE primary school a mile away, opened with year R and a mixed Year 1/2.

In September 2021, KAB will consist of students in year N, to year 2 and year 7 through to year 10, whilst. KAO will have students from year R to year 4.

Both academies will continue to grow year on year and will be run cohesively sharing the same leadership, staff, values, curriculum, opportunities and expectations of excellence.

The successful candidate should be an excellent classroom teacher who will get stuck in and involve themselves in the wider aspects of academy life. A genuine commitment to our ‘whatever it takes’ ethos is essential to enable every young person at KAB and KAO to thrive.

KAB and KAO are part of the King’s Group Academies MAT, led by a team of former and current Ofsted ‘outstanding’ head teachers and Her Majesty’s Inspectors (HMI). Please note link to King’s Group Academies Vision and Mission - https://kingsacademies.uk/about-us/vision-and-mission/

King’s Academy Binfield and King’s Academy Oakwood are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young students and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will need to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

Unfortunately at this time, visits to us may not possible, however we would be delighted to arrange an informal chat, so please do contact in the first instance, Amber Walker, PA to the Executive Principal at amber.walker@kingsacademies.uk
