An exciting and challenging opportunity has been created to join a Grounds Maintenance team who maintain Highway verges within Wirral.

 

Annualised hours will be worked as follows:

2 weeks @ 36 hrs 15/03/21 ' 26/03/21

27 weeks @ 42 hrs 29/03/21 ' 01/10/21

3 weeks @ 36 hrs 04/10/21 ' 22/10/21

Finish 22/10/21 but will continue to be paid until 23/11/21 (162 hours owed from 29/03/21 - 01/10/21)

 

The postholders Key Tasks will include:

Working within a Grounds Maintenance team.

Assisting and implementing a grass cutting schedule.

Working with plans.

Carry out other Amenity work when required.

 

The successful candidate will have the following essential Knowledge & Skills:

Experience in use of industrial horticultural machinery

Health & Safety awareness.

Full/Provisional Driving Licence

 

Possession of the following Desirable Criteria will be advantageous.

 

Towing of trailers

PA1 & PA6 spraing qualification

NVQ 2 in Amenity Horticulture
