About the role:

This post offers an excellent opportunity to develop a blend of skills. The role will involve providing project management and coordination to support the council’s commitment to the government's Resettlement Scheme. The role will involve providing project management and coordination to support the commitment to resettle vulnerable families from refugee camps, in Waltham Forest. This role will involve supporting a wide range of project-related activities, but notably the preparation to source and arrange affordable accommodation to kick start the match for families with the Home Office. The role will also liaise extensively with commissioned providers and internal services, including statutory partners and central government, ensuring the program’s aims and objectives are delivered.

About you:

You will play a crucial role in providing effective co-ordination of support for families arriving in the borough, to ensure their resettlement journey provides them with the services and tools they will need, to become connected to their community and independent residents of Waltham Forest

You should have strong written and verbal communications skills, the ability to form strong partnerships and connections to services across the borough, as well as the ability to organise and coordinate meetings and manage project plans, risks, and issues logs.
