What you'll do
The Accommodation Support Coordinator will work with support the Accommodation Manager to provide excellent accommodation services to our students, customers in line with our high service standards, and our operational plans.
You’ll help make the accommodation a fun place to live. And play a key part of the student’s journey in our accommodation from application through to move in, and then welcome them when they arrive to start their studies. During their time in the accommodation you’ll have an opportunity to organise events and activities to make living with us an enjoyable and worthwhile experience.
You’ll work with the Accommodation Manager to ensure a safe environment for our students to live in and our staff to work in, and liaise with our contractors and partners to deliver our contractual obligations.
This is a great opportunity to work collaboratively with Optivo central services and be part of a Gold Award Winning Housing Association.
What you'll need
You’ll be a customer focused individual with a “can do attitude” approach to problem solving.
You’ll ideally have knowledge and understanding of the property and housing management and key principles, along with experience of health & safety compliance within a residential setting.
You will be an advocate for promoting equality and diversity good practice and be willing to build effective collaborative relationships within Optivo.
Knowledge of IT systems used such as Microsoft Office including Excel and Star Rez would be a desirable, however training can be provided.
