Are you looking for a local HGV driving opportunity?

As part of North Somerset Libraries Outreach Team, your role will involve driving our 10-tonne mobile library to communities across North Somerset and delivering a range of library services to customers in those communities.

You will need to be reliable, organised and confident with IT.  Previous experience in customer service and excellent communication skills are required. The size of the vehicle means a HGV licence and up-to-date CPC qualifications are essential.  All of our libraries are COVID-secure and all work processes are risk assessed to ensure the safety of both staff and customers.

The working pattern is currently Monday to Friday, with hours varying to cover any absences of the regular driver / assistant.  You will be based at the Library Depot in Clevedon.

This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
