Do you enjoy consulting and engaging with people? Do you have an interest in primary and secondary research? Are you comfortable analysing complex data sets to find patterns and trends? If so, we want to hear from you!
We’re recruiting for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Business Insight, Policy and Partnerships service in North Somerset Council. The role has a focus on consultation and engagement and is an opportunity to help shape how we engage with and consult our residents, our stakeholders and our staff.
As well as developing and implementing our Consultation and Engagement Strategy, you will be responsible for ensuring our consultation and engagement tools are fit for purpose, the management and development of our Citizens’ Panel, and our corporate consultation and engagement activity including our staff surveys. You will also be a key in advising and guiding our services on best practice and research methodologies.
We’re looking for someone who is well-organised, has good attention to detail, and can juggle competing work-loads. Ideally, you will have significant experience working within a research and data environment and have advanced skills in market and social research. You will also need strong Excel skills and have some knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
A social research qualification such as an MRS diploma is desirable.
This post is fixed term for 12 months in the first instance.
