The council is looking for a talented Senior Communications Officer to provide communications support to the council’s people-focused teams, including Adult Social Care, Housing, and Children’s Services.
You’ll be involved in explaining changes or new developments in these areas - so those impacted know what we’re doing, what’s on offer, and how they can help shape our plans. You’ll also be involved in managing high profile, complex or sensitive issues. With good news sense and editorial skills too, you’ll be adept at crafting messages both for sensitive and positive stories.
