About The Job
Salary: £29,577 - £32,234 per annum
Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week
Contract Length: 1 year, Fixed term
Location: Chichester, County Hall
The Resourcing Team at West Sussex County Council are currently seeking an experienced Resourcing Advisor. Our desired candidate will be able to hit the ground running and support a fast-paced environment and deliver resourcing of high quality and high-volume roles.
As the post holder, you will manage the provision of resourcing across a Directorate/Service, be the resourcing subject matter expert and will proactively work with management to ensure that resourcing needs are identified and filled professionally. You will undertake a proactive approach to sourcing the best candidates, building resourcing pipelines and cutting down costs in the areas of resourcing. You will report to the Resourcing Manager and will take on additional responsibilities as necessary to support resourcing for the Council.
Experience and Skills
You will have a proven record of success in designing and delivering resourcing in order to deliver a great experience to our candidates and internal stakeholders. You will have experience of direct and agency recruitment as well as management of bank arrangements. You will be able to improve the customer journey throughout the recruitment process using procedure as well as technological interventions. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal credibly with our customers, senior managers and executives whilst being challenging, professional and commercially focused.
- A background in recruitment, either in-house or agency, with a knowledge of attraction and selection processes and the ability to develop screening criteria and interview questions
- Ability to analyse resourcing requirements to produce short and long term resourcing plans and strategies
- Understanding of determining and forecasting resourcing requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
Qualifications and/or experience:
- Previous experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Psychometric Testing Levels A & B
- Level 4 Diploma in Recruitment Leadership or equivalent qualification or experience
