Senior Social Worker - Friends and Family Assessment Team

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within our Fostering Service working as a  social worker within the Friends and Family Assessment Teams. We are looking for a person who has ambition that matches ours, to join us at this exciting moment, to be part of the Trust’s journey and help take us to the next level.

We are committed to keeping children within their family networks when it is no longer possible to live with their birth parents and to achieve. We are looking for experience social workers to come and join our us to ensure that our children receive high quality family based care with extended family.

Are you passionate about making a difference, committed to children achieving good outcomes whilst living with their extended family or friends with  an energetic can-do will do approach then this may be the role for you?

Who we’re looking for ?

We are looking for experienced  social worker  you have strong assessment and excellent written skills as you will need to deliver  fostering and Special Guardian assessment reports to  both court and Fostering Panel. High level of interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues , partners and prospective foster cares and Special Guardians.   You will be part of a supportive, dynamic  service contributing to our service  improvement journey to ‘Good’.
