Hoarding Project Support Officer

Hoarding Project Support Officer (2 vacancies)
Grade 5, £23,080 up to £27,041 per annum pro rata
37 hours per week, 12 month fixed term contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit two Hoarding Project Support Officers in our Private Sector Housing Team. The District Councils of Leicestershire have partnered together to pilot a project which will look at how we can help people with hoarding behaviours and also support their families.

We are looking for inspirational individuals to help develop and to deliver a practical and pragmatic service and to facilitate the delivery of 1 to 1 interventions in homes to positively work towards de-cluttering. The successful candidate must actively promote the hoarding pathway and to establish strong multi agency links to help develop the service.

You will work as part of a small team to develop a toolkit of interventions and procedures to make the pathway easy to navigate. You will be expected to work in cluttered environments regularly.

We are looking for someone educated to Level 4 or equivalent in social care, housing or environmental health or significant experience and in-house learning in one of the related areas.

We welcome applications from all the community

Benefits include flexible working options, generous pension scheme and annual leave plus bank holidays
