Programme Officer – Community Wealth Building

Level 8 (£27,741 - £30,451)

36.25 hours per week (requests for flexible working will be considered)

Fixed term 2 years

If you are an excellent communicator and coordinator that enjoys the challenge of building out new programmes and projects, this is the role for you. South Ribble Council has recently embarked on an exciting programme of work around community wealth building as key priority of their Corporate Strategy.

We’re looking for a highly motivated programme manager with experience of coordinating new and complex piece of work alongside a range of different community and council stakeholders. You will work across South Ribble Borough Council to promote the principles of community wealth building within the borough. As part of this, you will also develop and deliver programmes of work supporting community wealth building.

This post is employed by Chorley Council as part of shared services between the two councils but will be funded by South Ribble Borough and will concentrate on that work.
