Information & Governance Administrator

West Berkshire District Council is looking for a full-time administrator to join our Planning and Governance Team.

This post involves the provision of comprehensive administrative support to the Legal Services Team in order to support the functions of Strategy & Governance.  The workload is varied and the post holder will be expected to work with colleagues to ensure the overall team priorities for the day are achieved. 

Main duties include provision of administrative support for Data Protection and FOI requests, maintaining, updating files and records using existing systems and processes, ensuring accuracy and security of information and leading on the collection, processing and inputting of data into systems and databases as required, ensuring accuracy and security.  The post holder will also be expected to undertake general administrative tasks such as handling a range of telephone and person enquiries, managing some financial administrative tasks and providing administrative support in meetings, including the preparation of minutes and action logs.

There may also be opportunities to work across a wide variety of other legal areas that the service provides.
