Waltham Forest is actively working with local partners and residents to develop an Integrated Care System for Adults and Older People. Maximising people’s ability to retain their independence in their family home and local community is a key element of this work programme. We are revitalising and strengthening our home adaptation offer to residents which includes the creation of an in-house home adaptations service.
You will be an experienced and skilled Housing or Social Care manager with a track record of managing adaptation services and multidisciplinary teams. You will lead the development, implementation and delivery of this new in-house service. You will work with the Strategic Delivery Group and the current external provider to ensure the systems, processes and HR arrangements are in place to manage the in-house service and to allow a smooth transition of work to the new arrangements by April 2022.
