The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has a busy and fast paced communications and marketing team who are promoting a wide range of services that the council offers to our residents.
We are looking for an experienced communicator who is used to working at a senior level to lead our small communications and design team to deliver the council’s communications campaigns as well as support the ambitions and objectives of the council.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as being motivated, creative, organised and have an interest in current affairs.
You will need to be able to work on creative communication campaigns using channels including social media, digital and print on your own as well as directing the team and involving them in the campaigns.
A key part of your role will be to build relationships with officers, councillors, the media and other key stakeholders.
You will also be involved in working on royal events and state visits as well as ensuring key messages reach our residents.
