£25,137 - £26,520 pa

You will only drive when the permanent driver is not available. Main duties to collect waste from refuse points and traders and transfer to disposal point and to keep the market and markets compound clean and tidy.

Newham Markets service are looking for a 7.5 ton relief driver to be based at Queens Market. You will work at part of the cleansing time ensuring that the market is kept clean and tidy removing waste from refuse points witin the market to the rear to be recycled or loaded into a skip or cage vehicle for disposal. You will paid at Scale 5 and would cover for the main driver when he/she is not available.

Hour are 36 per week worked over a four day week Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, these hour would be reducing every fourth week by 2 hours per day to cover Sunday working, please not no overtime is paid for working Saturdau or Sunday.

You would be required to work from 12 noon until 10pm Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 1pm until 11pm Saturday.

You must be fit and health to carry out the functions of this position, have a 7.5 ton drivers licence and tachograph card.
