Class Teacher Early Years

The Governors of this successful, well-respected church school are looking to appoint an inspirational reception teacher to join us at St Philip’s CofE Primary School.  This would be for a fixed term contract of one year in the first instance.

Our church school is an inspiring, stimulating and creative centre of learning. It provides a safe and inclusive environment where people care for others and for their shared environment. Our mission statement What God has created, we nurture and celebrate in His love, is the driving force behind all we do. At St Philip’s, we celebrate the uniqueness of each child. We pride ourselves on the inclusive nature of our school. Supportive and positive relationships between children, staff, parents and the wider community mean that our children are fully supported in all they do. A deep sense of community is a particular strength of our school. Lifelong learning is deeply valued and we love to celebrate each other’s successes.

We are very proud of our school, but above all, we are proud to serve the children and families of Litherland, offering the very best educational experiences so every child can find ‘the winner within’. Being a smaller school, we know our children and their families well. We enjoy close links with St Philip’s Church community who play an active role in our school. We also work closely with other local schools in the area to ensure that our schools benefit from collaboration with other professionals.

We are looking for the right someone to become a member of our committed team from September 2021. We are seeking a hard-working, proactive and committed professional to join us in our work to improve outcomes for our reception children so that our youngest children leave reception ready for the challenges of year 1. We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable practitioner with excellent knowledge of the Early Years curriculum. You should be a resilient classroom teacher who shares our vision of high aspirations and achievement and a passion for learning.
