Salary £36,517.52 pa 37 hours per week


As an enthusiastic and creative individual, with strong problem solving skills and experience of using low code automation and web services tools, you will take responsibility for updating and creating digital services. You will provide technical guidance to colleagues from across all Council services and ensure that customer digital interactions are optimized and easy to use for both customers and staff.


Ideally with experience of the JADU product suite, you will have excellent analytical and communication skills. You must also be able to produce accurate work, have a knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and work well independently whilst being able to build and maintain strong working relationships with a range of colleagues and stakeholders.


The ability to converse at ease with senior officers and to provide advice in fluent English is essential in this post.

It is an exciting time to join Broxbourne Borough Council. Over the last two years, the Council’s award-winning ‘One Broxbourne’ team has been delivering a digital transformation, fundamentally changing the way in which the Council interacts with its customers. This has seen the development and roll-out of a new website, a new Council-wide back office system and new, more efficient ways of working.


However, there is still work to be done and the Council is now looking to establish its own, in-house Digital Team to continue to build upon the progress that has been made. The Website Developer and Business Change Analyst will from a key part of this team, taking the lead on the development of new processes, enhancing existing ones, introducing new technologies or leveraging those already in place and supporting Council staff as they adapt to new ways of working.


This represents a fantastic opportunity to join the Council and take a lead role in turning Broxbourne into a truly digital council.
