The Architecture and Design Team are looking to recruit a senior Architect

About the role

Brighton & Hove City Councils ‘In-house’ Architecture & Design Team is responsible for designing and contract administering a diverse range of new build and refurbishment projects ranging in value from £2 million to £70million. This currently includes a major regeneration scheme to deliver 230 new Council homes with a community health hub and library as part of the Councils ‘New Homes For Neighbourhoods’  programme

A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Architect within the team, which currently consists of eleven Architects and Technicians and is  part of the Council’s Property & Design Service. Applicants should have experience of working on residential, education and commercial projects, be proficient in using 2D and 3D CAD Software and have experience of leading and managing a technical design team

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
