The Early Years Governance panel is a multi-disciplinary panel which includes education and health professionals. Panels are held monthly in each quadrant. The panel is responsible for the distribution of Early Intervention Funding which is a supplement of Early Years Funded Entitlement for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. This funding supports children who are experiencing barriers to learning and making progress.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to work as a member of the commissioning team with a focus on SEND, Education and Early Years. The role will require a comprehensive knowledge of MS Word and Excel and the ability to work independently. The role involves the use of multiple data platforms.
In this role you will work closely with the panel coordinator to arrange the panels, inviting all the relevant professionals, receiving and managing all supporting documentation with close regard to GDPR and safeguarding requirements.
You will work closely with multi-agencies and have responsibility for ensuring accurate records of panel decisions; following up with offer letters and subsequently instigate the payment process. You will also be involved in review panels where the funding and interventions are assessed and evaluated.
You will need to be highly organised and have excellent communication and IT skills plus the ability to work collaboratively with partners. This role will require flexibility, diplomacy and discretion at all times.
Other tasks include business support to Head of Commissioning and wider team.
