What you’ll be doing
We have exciting opportunity for an Estate Maintenance Officer join us working across our Keyworker resident sites based in Chertsey and Kingston.
As the Estates Maintenance Officer your role will be to provide a comprehensive and professional repairs and maintenance services in line with our service standards framework and contractual obligations. You’ll also ensure onsite repairs and maintenance services in accordance with relevant health & safety policies, regulations and legislations.
You’ll have the opportunity to manage your own stock across the 2 sites, in addition supervising works done by third party contractors.
This role will also require you to work on an on call rota which also offers a cash based allowance.
What you’ll need
You’ll have knowledge of student services including best practice, the regulatory framework and relevant legislation within which Registered Providers operate and working knowledge of fire, health and safety regulations in a residential setting
You’ll have a basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, tiling and electrical industry standards along with knowledge of the ANUK framework for landlords managing accommodation
A Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Building Maintenance Multi-trade Repair and Refurbishment Operations (Construction) or equivalent qualification would be desirable.
You’ll have working knowledge of using IT systems used such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and Orchard would be beneficial.
