We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Researcher to work in our Customer Experience and Behaviour Change Team. Remote working can be considered with a requirement to attend meetings at our offices in Maidstone or around the County of Kent. As a member of a small team you will have the opportunity to influence and build a varied portfolio of research to support a wide range of change initiatives, with a particular emphasis on gaining customer insight.
The successful candidate will be passionate about using research to understand people and their needs. With an emphasis on primary research you will need to use a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Ideally you will also have experience in working directly with customers and stakeholders to improve services.
Working alongside passionate and knowledgeable colleagues across all your projects; you’ll need the skills and confidence to be able to influence and support improvements to both internal and external services. A significant part of this work is to ensure the effectiveness of initiatives to encourage safer behaviours by our customers.
Essential attributes include good communication and influencing skills as well as a good understanding of different research and data collection methods. A degree in a relevant subject with a strong research or social sciences focus is essential.
