We are currently seeking a self-motivated and proactive individual to join our Case Management (Corporate Services) team. Working in a multi-skilled team focused on delivering core corporate services (including Finance, Procurement, Corporate Debt, Democratic Services, Human Resources, Organisational Development and IT), this is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of the council, shaping processes and providing excellent customer service to a whole range of stakeholders.
You will need experience in delivering service performance standards, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; have the ability to prioritise workload to meet agreed deadlines; to operate on your own initiative, as well as part of a team; and be committed to continuous improvement.
The primary function of this role will be to assist in Procurement services of the Council. You will be responsible for compiling and maintaining the Council’s corporate contract register; place adverts on relevant business portals with regards to the Council’s contract opportunities and respond to enquiries. Also provide training and assistance to users of the e-procurement system for direct ordering, goods receipting and requisitioning.
This role will also include carrying out tasks in various other areas of Case Management (Corporate Services).
It would be desirable if the candidate had previously worked for a public sector organisation.
