The Governing Board of Dee Banks School is looking to appoint a Family Liaison Worker. The position will be 22.2 hours a week, term time only, though the school is happy to be flexible with this arrangement. The position will be a permanent position.
Dee Banks School is an all age school with pupils displaying a range of SEN needs including ASC, severe and profound learning difficulties, some of who have challenging behaviour.
The successful applicant will be working closely alongside school’s Family Support Worker as well as working as part of the wider school team.
The Family Liaison Worker will be expected to lead on a small number of TAF’s, attend Annual Reviews and CIN meetings and support with referrals to other agencies, as well as supporting the day to day needs of children and their families.
Organising and supporting events such as parent training and information sessions, coffee mornings, siblings’ days, and updating school website information will also be part of the role.
