Full Time, Permanent Opportunity

We are looking for experienced project managers to lead, manage and bring focus to the full range of projects delivered through the Programme Management Office. You will have proven project management experience having successfully delivered projects involving multi-disciplinary teams. You will have an excellent working knowledge of project management methodologies and experience of successfully delivering change, preferably within a local authority setting.


You will enjoy the opportunity to manage the delivery of a broad range of significant and complex projects to support our emerging Change Programme. You will be required to ensure projects are delivered at pace and completed on time, within budget and to the highest levels of quality. From project initiation and the definition of deliverables, benefits and critical success factors, identifying and aligning stakeholder interests through to planning, executing, documenting and handing over. You'll be at the heart of change within the Resources Directorate and across the Council.


You will be a qualified PRINCE2 practitioner or have equivalent professional qualifications and experience of other recognised project management methodologies. You are a highly motivated individual with demonstrable theoretical knowledge and understanding of the technical elements of project management, coupled with proven practical skills and experience within a large organisation.
